Silence

Space suspended from function

Silence explores architecture as a condition of suspension. Structures conceived for movement and human presence are considered at the point where activity dissolves leaving space in its most essential state. Through a restrained visual language geometry light and proportion emerge without distraction. Perspective removes scale isolating the built environment from its context and transforming it into a self-contained presence. Architecture shifts into a field of perception silent autonomous and absolute.
